This is a study for another larger mural painting. It is a preliminary exploratory work that was made before beginning the final painting. Comparing the painted study with the final completed work you will see differences in the details such as composition and color choices. The final finished painting was a mural used to decorate the Pavillon at the south east corner of the Bonnet House property. This mural was supposedly stolen.
