Framed oil on canvas portait of Dr. Clark, a Bordentown physician who served during the War of Independence. Dr. Clark is shown in a seated position, three-quarter view from the waist up. He is silhouetted against a wine-burgundy color drape background. High forehead with receding hair cut short to head with long; left ear fully exposed. Closed lips, fully opened brown eyes, angular nose, rosy cheeks. Dr. Clark is wearing a black single breasted waist coat with wide lapels which stand up behind neck. Hand bow tied white cravat.
