American Legion, Nev. Dept., ribbon, medallion, and i.d. tag for the "14th Annual
Convention, June 9-11/Las Vegas, Nevada/1932;" the delegate was L. W. Roush
from Boulder City, 6" 1. x 2" w.; includes 1931 Hoover Dam commemorative coin
attached to the bottom, a metal frame at the top with typewritten label reading, "L.
W. Roush/Delegate/Boulder City" (L. W. Roush was Leonard W. Roush, the first
telegrapher and station master for the Union Pacific Railroad in Boulder City.) The
museum has a biography file on Leonard and his wife, Hattie Deane, and a
biography file on Leonard's and Hattie's son, William Leonard and wife, Elizabeth
"Taffy" Roush [Koterba]. Elizabeth Roush Koterba, on April 27, 1999, donated to
the museum the package scale Roush used in the original Boulder City station of
the Union Pacific Railroad, 1931-35, accession no. 999.19.1)]
