![0042:0026: Boulder City High School - "The High School building was constructed in 1949-50. There was provision made for outdoor athletic facilities and games were played on a sand lot at the base of Elm Street. Bruce Eaton, the maintenance foreman of Boulder City for the Bureau of Reclamation, responded to the needs of Boulder City youth, and using such equipment as was available, and with volunteer crews, provided for the leveling of the hills and ravines on the site and built the athletic field and stadium. Many years later at the request of those who worked with Mr. Eaton and recognized the value of his contribution to the youth of the City, The Clark County Board of School Trustees chose to have his name placed on this field, Bruce Eaton Field."
