"Males Beat Gals in Baseball Tilt. The 'heavies," Boulder girl's baseball team, gave the "fat and forties," man's team, a heavy run for their money last night in the mixed game between two factions, played off at the Legion field. The men won, by a neat score of 21-20, watched by a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. This game, not of the Beer League series, now current in Boulder, was said to be one of the best played this season. Anderson Brothers Supply company's team will play the government boys tonight at 7:30." (988.5.W, year 1933)Create Date
