PIANIST-CONDUCTOR... Jose Iturbi, famed concert pianist and symphony conductor, again portrays himself on the screen, in Motro-Goldwyn-Mayor's new musical comedy "Two Sister's and a Sailor," in which he shares comedy scenes with Grace Allen and also presides at the piano. Others heading the stellar cast include Jimmy Durante, Harry James, Xavier Cugat and Lena Horne, while June Allyson, Gloria De Haven and Van Johnson have the title roles. The story concerns teo young entertaiiners, the Doyo Sisters, who establish their own canteen for servicemen. Richard Thorpe directed and Joseph Pastornak produced the musical comedy.Lexicon
