Container list TEXTILES Box T-7 Military Uniforms 006.041.1 scarf, US Army woven wool scarf, dark green, 50 x 12 inches, twill weave; condition: multiple stains and insect holes; deep center crease lengthwise; some pilling; loose thread on selvedge 006.041.2 trouser, US Army officer’s, light brown, Bedford cloth, wool with rayon lining and cotton twill pockets, zipper front; has name in back of waistband; condition: spotting on right leg at crease; some insect damage (minor) at back right pocket c. 1950 006.041.4a-b a -- trouser, US Army, dark olive green, Bedford cloth (wool), 1 ½ inch black wool braid down sides, zipper closure is metal, rayon waistband inside with elastic, cotton twill pocket, glass (?) interior buttons, “Galperin”; condition: elasticized waistband has stiffened and is breaking up c. 1955 b – belt, black cotton webbing with brass slide belt buckle; no insignia on buckle 006.041.5 trouser, US Army, dark olive green, Bedford coth (wool), 1 ½ inch black wool braid down sides, zipper closure is metal, rayon waistband inside with elastic, cotton twill pocket, glass (?) interior buttons; condition: elasticized waistband has stiffened and is breaking up c. 1955 006.041.7 tunic coat, US Army officer’s, light brown wool with rayon partial lining, bright “A5” patch on left shoulder, one brown wool braid on left sleeve, four bars on lower right sleeve, “100” patch on right shoulder; condition: two small holes on left sleeve at braid; back vent lining separating from; corrosion evident on service bars on right sleeve c. 1940 006.041.8 shirt, US Army, 15 ½ neck, cotton poplin “pink” shirt, machine sewn, flat felled seams at sides, all buttons included, “El Beco sanitized poplin” tag in neck fused into collar, plain weave, metal pocket support; condition: still starched, discoloration at collar c. 1940 006.041.9 trouser, US Army officer’s, 33L, wool “pinks” partially lined with rayon, cotton pockets, “Regulation Army Officers Trousers” label; condition: excellent c. 1950 006.041.10 tunic coat, US Army uniform, Skinner manufacturer, wool Bedford cloth outer, rayon partial lining, US Army Major, all buttons included; includes Korea bar, shoulder and collar insignia and ordnance/artillery collar insignia, name bar and rank insignia, black braid on left sleeve, “Galperin” ; condition: lining separating from seams at back, damage to lining from former chest pins c. 1955 006.041.11 tunic coat, US Army uniform, custom made, wool shell, rayon lining (fully lined), bright Army buttons,; has tag on inner pocket right “Regulation Army Officers Uniform; no personal ID or size, no manufacturer listed; belt included; one green wool braid on left sleeve, shoulder patch on upper left – “A5”; all buttons included c. 1940 006.041.12 tunic coat, US Army dress tunic, wool superfine, rayon lining, layered bright officer’s buttons, welted buttonholes, Artillery Major shoulder bars, gold and red braid on each sleeve; H. Pick & Co., Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; condition: wear at waist on sides only on the inside, left sleeve lining detached, corrosion on shoulder bars c. 1955 005.038a jacket, filed jacket, US Army “Eisenhower”, olive green, chest 38, wool serge, rayon lining, custom made by Frank-Len Uniforms, 4 N.
