Description

"New Highway sign north of Boulder City installed by members of the Boulder City Junior Chamber of Commerce, cooperating with officers of Boulder City Chamber of Commerce. The sign is modeled after Lake Mead National Recreation Area motif and built of rustic material "pecky cedar". Present for the "planting", left to right at top: Maurice Laughery, Jack Rants Bill Eby and "Duke" Clark, Jaycee members. Below left to right "Bob" Glinski (Chamber vice president), Harold Corbin (city manager), S. "Tommy" Thompson (Chamber president), Elton M. Garrett (Chamber manager) and Carrol McCall (Jaycee past president). Captured 1957-1958.
