US Bureau of Mines Collection - C-771-BC The Crusher in Operation: The coarse ore is dumped onto a grizzly over a bin at the left center. Large pieces are broken by hand with a double-jack. Crushed ore is being discharged into a truck, the hood of which is visible at the right. Dust collecting equipment is inadequate, as can be seen from the discharge on the two dust-collector stacks. The crusher has a capacity of 8 tons per hour.
