Description

Porcius Festus was the 5th procurator of Judea, succeeding Antoninus Felix. Paul was brought before Festus in Acts 24v27 and Acts 25. I particularly enjoy this passage as it narrates an aspect of political life with Felix's Reign coming to an End and Festus taking over and cleaning up the things that were still outstanding. It also details Paul's status as a citizen of Rome as he appeals to be sent to the Emperor
