Hart cousins

Hart Cousins, 1861, before leaving for civil war.

Left front: Henry C. Hart, age 31, son of Orenus and Sabra Hart, brother of John S. Hart. He died in 1865 in Anderson Andersonville prison, Georgia, of scurvy after losing one arm. Left back: Simeon Hart, age 17, son of Oliver (brother of Orenus) and Susan Hart. He died a "hopeless invalid" in 1891 at his cousin Seth's home in Bristolville. He served in Company B, 105 Ovi. He is buried in Brookfield Cemetery. Right side: John S. Hart, son of Orenus and Sabra Hart, father of Seth and Dennis, buried in Brookfield Cemetery. Son Seth, age 19, in back, son Dennis, age 18. Dennis married and moved to Atwater, Ohio. Seth served in Company B, 105 OVI. Seth is buried in the Bristol Cemetery.
