Three pamphlets of special rules for the Union Pacific Railroad Company Eastern District, 1966. Two of the pamphlets were effective January 15, 1966 and represented the company's Kansas Division; the other was effective May 1, 1966 and represented the Wyoming Division. Each pamphlet is 4" x 10," paper, with staples.
The rules pertain mostly to traffic regulation and railroad crossings. It was required by Union Pacific for all relevant railroad employees to have these sets of rules on their person while working. The rules also contain information on locomotive freight tonnage ratings.Collection
