A book, titled "Souvenir and Manual of the Fifteenth General Assembly and State of Colorado" originally owned by the Crawford family, 1905. The book is approximately 9.5" x 10" when closed, leather and string binding, 263 pages with index and advertisements. The cover is all leather, with gold and silver imprinted lettering and illustration for the title and for images of Lady Justice on the edges. A photograph picture of the Colorado State Capitol is featured on the front.
The book has information on the State of Colorado, as well as short biographies of members of the State Senate and House of Representatives. Prominent citizens of Colorado are also featured. Important Broomfield residents John Frank Church, Harry Crawford, and Mary Wright have biographies listed. Church's civil service as a member of the House of Representatives is mentioned, as is Crawford's honey business in Broomfield. A handwritten note on Crawford's biography mentions his service as Broomfield's Postmaster from 1897 to 1898. The page with Wright's biography mentions her role as Colorado's Dairy Commissioner. An inscription on the inside of the front cover lists Church's biography being on page 48, Wright's on page 63, and Crawford's on page 228.Collection
