Scope and Content

Color, 4" x 6" postcard with a picture of "The Silverton" narrow gauge train on a sheer cliff over the Las Animas River, 1972. The train was probably part of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railway Company. The reverse side has a printed description of the front image, as well as a National Parks Centennial stamp. The correspondence portion is filled out with writing for LTC and Mrs. Charles Agee, 546 Graham Jct., Sam Houston, Texas 78234. The correspondence highlights a mountain trip. The front picture was taken by Bob Petley. The postcard was published by Petley Studios, Phoenix, Arizona.
