Scope and Content

A phonebook for Broomfield, Colorado, 1960. The phonebook was published by the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Company, and includes a telephone directory for Broomfield, Broomfield Heights, and East Lake residents and businesses. The book also contains advertisements for different businesses. The book is 6" x 9," paper with staple binding. The cover is blue, with a picture of a woman on the phone within a compass pattern to the left. Text pertaining to Direct Distance Dialing is below the picture, with "Broomfield Telephone Directory" displayed at the top of the cover, "Mountain States Telephone" at the bottom. "Arlene M. Neill" is written in ink at the top. The back cover has several color pictures and captions for women talking on the telephone, and a house.
