E2025.1.1Description
Item is a festival coat from the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan at Yumeshima Island. World Expos have been held every five years since 1851, with the theme of this one being "Designing Future Society for Our Lives." The goals of this Expo were to find ways to implement the Sustainable Development Goals created by the United Nations and achieve Japan's own creation of Society 5.0. The last Expo to be held in Osaka was 55 years prior in 1970. This year's Expo takes place from April 13 to October 13.
The robe itself is colored with red, blue, white, and gray splotches with a navy blue border that reads "Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan." On the front of the right sleeve, the theme of the Expo is listed, and on the back, the Expo location is written again. The 2025 Expo logo is printed on the left breast of the coat, as well as on the back center. Its design is modeled after traditional Japanese clothing.Collection
