Invitation card with envelope for a Mardi Gras celebration from Colorado Training School for Nurses alumnae to Ella Mitze, 1931. The card is 2.75" x 3.5", the envelope 3" x 3.75". The invitation is all handwritten and illustrated in black ink on one side of the card, with a picture of two figures in costume dress featured at the top. The text reads, "The Alumnae requests you and your escort's presence at a Mardi Gras. April 18, 1931. 8:30 P.M. Soderstrom's Dancing School." The envelope has "Miss Mitze" written on the front in the same black ink. Ella Mitze attended the nursing school from 1929 through 1931.Collection
