Scope and Content

A Christmas postcard, dated December 24, 1927. The card is 3.5" x 5.5", white, with a color illustration of a steapled church in winter scenery surrounded by holly and pine cones featured in the center front. A white banner with the cursive, red text "A Joyful Christmas" is presented just below the illustration. The messages "'Peace and Goodwill toward Men'" and "It's a message for all of us to live by" are printed in black cursive text to the left and at the bottom. The reverse side has an ink post office stamp, as well as the original postage stamp. A message of Christmas greetings is handwritten in blue ink from a Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman in Chappell, Nebraska to a Mr. and Mrs. Ole B. Christensen in Curley, Nebraska.
