A New Years postcard, dated December 29, 1914. The card is 3.5" x 5.5", white, with several green four-leaf clovers depicted on the front. One clover in the upper right corner is filled with a color illustration of a house in a winter landscape. The text "A happy New Year" is printed in gold-colored lettering just below the center. Another message is printed in colored text near the bottom: "With a wish for the sweetest and brightest, And a prayer for all that is true. May the days be brimful of gladness In the year that is dawning for you."
The reverse side has an ink post office stamp, along with the original postage stamp. Brief, handwritten greetings in ink are written from a Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Johnson to a Miss Grace Aldham of Levti, Kansas. The postcard's series number, "346 E", is printed in the lower left corner.Collection
