A New Years postcard, dated December 31, 1914. The card is 3.5" x 5.5", white, with a color illustration of a house in a winter landscape seen through trees featured prominently on the front. The text "Sincere New Year Wishes" is printed near the lower left corner in stylized, color lettering; below that is the message "Fortune bright and Friendship true, Bless the coming year for you." The name "Ellen H. Clapsaddle" is inscribed in pencil near the lower right corner.
The reverse side has an ink post office stamp, along with the original postage stamp. Publisher information and insignia, "International Art Publ. Co." of New York and Berlin, is printed in the upper left corner. The postcard's series number, "1392", is printed along the left edge. A New Years message is handwritten in ink from a Georgia Reinhault in Nebraska to a Miss Mildred Green in Haxtun, Colorado.Collection
