Scope and Content

A cookbook titled, "The Flavor of Broomfield," by Claudette O'Donnell, 1988. The book is printed on newsprint paper with glue binding, 7" x 9" when closed, 24 pages. The front cover is orange with black and white illustrations of various foods and a teapot surrounding a black circle in the center. The back cover has a recipe-themed advertisement for Homes For Living Realty, with an image of a tabbed recipe book standing on its bottom. The book was a seventh edition published by The Broomfield Enterprise Sentinel. An alternate title for the book was "Cooking with Claudette," referring to the author. The contents of the book contain several recipes for appetizers, salads, side dishes, preserving and canning, breads, main dishes, and desserts. Advertisements for several Broomfield businesses are also displayed throughout the book.
