Audiotape cassette with a recording of an oral history from Merwin Jay Harrison, March 1, 1996. The interviewer was Eleanor McKinley for the Boulder Public Library. Harrison discusses his family history in detail, covering his own birth in 1914 and his parents' move to Broomfield in 1916. His father worked at the Colorado Milling and Elevator Company, which Harrison describes. Harrison also discusses the Lorraine School, celebrating holidays, entertainment, various Broomfield businesses such as Broomfield Bank, Driskol's Blacksmith, Matthew's Garage, and a cheese factory, and the Crescent Grange and Merry Mix Club.
