Scope and Content

One deposit booklet for Broomfield State Bank owned by Miles Crawford, 1929. The booklet is 2.25" x 3.75", light brown, with a textured hard cover. The cover has the wording "Broomfield State Bank of Broomfield, Colo., Savings Department" printed on the front, with the number "39" written in pencil in a designated space at the top. The bottom of the cover has the message, "Positively no checks cashed unless accompanied by this book. Read the Rules" printed. The inside of the book has a check register for Miles Crawford, recording deposits he made in May through June of 1929. The bank ultimately closed during the Great Depression in the early 1930s.
