A letter from First Lady Mamie Doud Eisenhower to Lou Walther, dated June 3, 1964. The letter is 6.5" x 9." The top of the letter has gold, raised letterhead stating, "Mamie Doud Eisenhower." Mamie sent the letter from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, writing to thank Walther for a letter and newspaper clippings that she had sent the previous month regarding the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library. Walther was the Library Board Secretary. Unspecified photographs were originally sent along with the letter. Mamie also signed her name, in ink, near the bottom of the letter.Collection
