Postmaster's account and record book for the Broomfield Post Office, July 1898-December 1900. The book is 8.75" x 12.75" with a paper board cover and leather-covered adhesive and string binding. Contents of the book include: general accounting records; earnings records for stamps, postage, and envelopes; special delivery records; and US Treasury Department audit documentation. All records were created and recorded by Broomfield postmasters Harry Crawford and Florence A. Graves. Broomfield's post office was listed as "4th class," designating its size. The post office was considered part of Boulder County at the time of the records' creation.Collection

Notes
Custodial History: This postal record book and four others were originally created and used by Broomfield's post office. Bill Mason, the postmaster of Broomfield in the 1970s, gave these records to Rick Steele, a collector and former president of the Broomfield Historical Society. Steele donated the records to the Society in 1976; the Society later became the Broomfield Depot Museum.
