Scope and Content

A group of stapled accounting receipts and form slips of the Broomfield Post Office, 1887-1900. The receipts verify that payments for postage for a given month was accurate, and each slip was signed by Broomfield's postmaster. The receipt slips were given to the Justice of the Peace for Boulder County to sign, as well. Postmasters who signed include Minnie R. Graves, Lewis E. Craine, Florence Graves, Edward O. Graves, Charles W. Harrell, Edgar J. Jones, and Harry Crawford.
