Original pencil drawing of the Broomfield Depot by artist William B. Nelson, circa 1975. The drawing shows the Broomfield Depot in its original location along the tracks. There also appear to be 3 out buildings and a baggage cart in the drawing.
Nelson drew the picture for Jeppesen Co. as part of a commission to draw historic places. The image was used by many groups in Broomfield for logos, including the Broomfield Enterprise newspaper, due to the depot's historical significance to the community.Collection

Custodial History: Donated to the Broomfield Historical Society by Albert Martin of A E Industries in 1981. Martin was owner of A E, an office supply and printing business in Broomfield, and was an ex-publisher of the Broomfield Enterprise according to accession documentation. The drawing itself was created by artist William B. Nelson of Jeppesen Co.
