Scope and Content

Original pencil drawing of the Broomfield Depot by artist William B. Nelson, circa 1975. The drawing shows the Broomfield Depot in its original location along the tracks. There also appear to be 3 out buildings and a baggage cart in the drawing. Nelson drew the picture for Jeppesen Co. as part of a commission to draw historic places. The image was used by many groups in Broomfield for logos, including the Broomfield Enterprise newspaper, due to the depot's historical significance to the community.
