A cookbook focusing on salad, sandwich, and dressing preparation. The book contains 23 pages of recipes, tips, color illustrations, and advertisements. The book also served as advertising material for The Best Foods, Inc., a food manufacturer that produced salad dressings and other products. Physical Characteristics: 7.5" (H) x 5" (W), 23 pages. Staple bound, lithograph. The cover has an illustrated color picture of a salad bowl with a pattern around the edges and two red spoon utensils resting in the middle. A knife, different fruits, a head of lettuce, and a jar of Best Foods brand mayonnaise is seen below the bowl. the back cover has an identical illustration.
