This is a children's picture book. The book tells the story of Shep, a dog that lived at the tollbooth in Broomfield, on Highway 36 which was then a turnpike. He is now burried at the depot. The book is signed by the author on the title page, it reads; "For the Depot Museum, all the best, Charlotte Havey"
Physical Characteristics: A hardcover book, the front cover is printed in color and has a watercolor style image of a tollbooth operator carrying Shep in the foreground with pink mountains in background. The title can be found in red at the top left corner. An "autographed by the author" sticker is on the bottom left corner. This is a thin book, 9 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide.Collection
