A copy of a newspaper clipping from the Lafayette Leader, October 15, 1954. Alongside this is two paragraphs typed, written by Miles Crawford June 21,1978. Clipping: A photo of Cpl. Harry M. Crawford in military uniform getting the Commendation Ribbon pinned to his chest. Caption describes him as getting the ribbon for meritorious duty in the South Pacific. He "solved new electronic problems of instrumentation, for which no precedent had been established." Typed Paragraphs: Miles Crawford writes about the context of Harry's education. Lorraine School, to Lafayette High School. Crawford explains the challenges of Broomfield students getting to and from a high school at the time.
