(b/w) Label from 2021 Exhibit: “Pleasant Whole Living” - The New Homes of Broomfield Heights Viewers Watching the Film “Birth of a City” at the Denver Home Show, April 1957 The Turnpike Land Company heavily advertised their new development by submitting promoted articles to major area newspapers such as the Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, and the Boulder Daily Camera. They also commissioned a promotional film, “Birth of a City,” and invited interested parties to information sessions where it was screened. The narrator, Alex Dreier, was a radio and TV commentator on NBC and ABC from the 1940s through 1970s. 1987.24.162 Gift of Jack Mefford
