This is a fragment of an enameled sign with blue enameling and red and white painted additions. This is enameled over an iron base. It is a rectangular fragment that appears to have been cut from a larger piece. The sides are finished edges while the top and bottom are cut. The back is white enamel with blue at one edge. The fragment measures .5" (h) x 3.5" (w) x 4.25" (l).

From Registration Sheet: Mr. Wilson owns the site and gave permission for the excavating. These items came from the dirt pile that resulted when the well and cistern were dug up at the Jones Hall site. Jones Hall was built in 1906 by Edgar J. Jones. It burned down in 1972.
