This is a clear glass bottle screw top metal lid. On the bottom in raised letters is "DESPAT / 89237 / 1554 (?)." Also on the bottom is a round logo. The bottle has flat parallel sides and rounded at each end creating an oval shape. There are mold lines along the sides and a round one on the bottom. The lid measures 14" (h) x 2.5" (w) x 5.5" (l).

From Registration Sheet: Mr. Wilson owns the site and gave permission for the excavating. These items came from the dirt pile that resulted when the well and cistern were dug up at the Jones Hall site. Jones Hall was built in 1906 by Edgar J. Jones. It burned down in 1972.
