This is a white ceramic plate fragment. It is a rim shard with a blue vine and leaf design on rim and in to the center. Away from the rim there is a change in the angle, suggesting a flat bottom with a upward flaring rim. There is a small indication of a foot on the bottom. The plate fragment measures .5" (h) x 6" (w) x 6" (l).

From Registration Sheet: Mr. Wilson owns the site and gave permission for the excavating. These items came from the dirt pile that resulted when the well and cistern were dug up at the Jones Hall site. Jones Hall was built in 1906 by Edgar J. Jones. It burned down in 1972.
