Description

A scan of a 4" x 5" black and white photograph of John Calhoun Ward working at a desk in a unidentified railroad station office. Ward is wearing a pair of glasses and a white shirt and a tie. There are several file cabinets and a roll top desk in the background. Ward was a railroad station agent and telegrapher. On the back is handwritten "John C Ward" and "Virginia Ward Hermes." There is a address label on the back that has the name and address of the donor.
