Description

This is a scan of photograph of transporting the Broomfield Depot to it's new location. A man in a cherry picker is above the depot roof, holding telephone wires out of the path of the depot as it begins it's move. The depot is painted yellow with dark green trim, the roof appears to be metal. Grain elevators are visible in the background on the left side of the photograph. When asked to explain this image donor Karen McGuire described; "Preparing to move, chimneys have been taken off so they wouldn't fall. Lines being lifted to clear. Coors Grain Elevator in background."

01/22/2015 Karen McGuire's family took these photographs during the depot's move to its second location at Lac Amora Park (2201 W. 10th Avenue). She allowed the Broomfield Depot Museum to scan the original photographs. The prints remain in her possession.
