Name/Title
Ellenor Brown Waugh and Others in Boat on Adolph Zang's ResevoirEntry/Object ID
2015.18.10Description
Two men and three women sit in a rowboat in one of Adolf Zang's reservoirs, between approximately 1914 and 1925. The woman in the center may be Ellenor Brown Waugh. A small number "5" can be seen on the hull of the boat. The photograph was printed on a postcard, with space on the back for postage, correspondence, and address. The backside of the photograph contains an inscription, "Maybe Ellenor in middle?" The inscription was probably written by Brown family descendants long after the photograph was taken.Collection

Notes
The photograph is part of a larger collection of photographs taken and kept by the Brown family. The collection, along with a pair of diaries and a collection of poems, were scanned by Broomfield Depot Museum staff in 2015. The scans were donated to the museum by Janet Justice-Waddington, the daughter of Frances Ridsdale, that same year. Janet owns the original photographs as of 2015; the originals are not in the Broomfield Depot Museum's collections.
