According to email on 1/22/2018 from donor: The blue jacket was called a Gerry Jacket. It was kind of a signature piece from the Gerry Mountaineering at the root of the kits. I am pretty sure I bought all the kits I made at a big store on Broadway (?), maybe it was the one in Broomfield but I don't remember driving that far. It was in the early 70s but I am not sure of the exact date. I wore it forever and still had it in my front coat closet when I saw your post. Attached is [a scan of a photo of] me and one of my hunting buddies in Fort Collins with the geese we finally bagged after many cold, autumn days in 1977 hiding in corn stubble on a farm east of town. I was at CSU in Forest Management 1975-79. I made the kits as an affordable way to have nice gear. I also made myself a down vest and a tent, maybe others as gifts that I have forgotten.
