This is a metal curling iron with wood handles. Debossed into the metal on the side is the text "MADE IN U.S.A" The wood on one side of the curling iron is burned, probably where it hung by the lamp for too long. The curling iron measures 0.75" (h) x 2" (w) x 9.5" (l).
