Description

Glass Christmas tree ornament with an ellipsoidal shape, pointed at top and bottom, and one indent. The ornament is silver with a red-brown garnet-colored finish. The indent is silver and has a red-brown dot in the center and pink stripes on the sides. The ball has a scalloped pattern of glue that may have been covered in glitter/mica at one time. Metal cap attached with bent metal loop inserted for hanging. Metal cap has text, "Poland." Poland began exporting silver indented ornaments in the mid-1930s. The ornament measures 2" (dia) x 6" (circ).
