Description

Black and white photograph print of the Broomfield train depot on its new foundation/basement at 2201 West 10th Avenue near Lac Amora Park (now Zang Spur Park), 1976. The view is from the waiting room side, with a door to the waiting area and three windows to the waiting area and station agent's office clearly visible. The interior of the new basement space under construction is also visible, with various construction items being stored within. A large open dirt area is in front of the depot, with clearly visible truck or bulldozer tracks. Some houses can be seen in the background. A larger, 5" x 6.75" copy print of this photograph is stored in the same folder. It has the same numbering, and was probably developed from the same original negative.
