Scope and Content

Commemorative Envelope with four postage stamps celebrating both the US Bicentennial and the Colorado Centennial. Envelope is cream colored printed in brown ink mountain graphics resembling the front range. At center is the Colorado 1976 Centennial Seal overlaid with "Colorado's Centennial Commorative First Day Cover / August 1, 1876 to August 1976." The envelope is stamped with with four 13cent Bicentennial stamps featuring a painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1976. The postange stamps have been ink stamped with "Denver, CO / Aug 1 / 1976 / 80202" and "Philadelphia, PA / Jul 4 / 1976 / 19104"
