Description

An Azo postcard with a picture of a steam locomotive as seen from the side, traveling on railroad tracks, circa 1904-1918. The postcard is 3.5" x 5.5", the photographic print 2.5" x 4". The image also the conductor in the locomotive window, and grassy terrain in the foreground. The locomotive was likely associated with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The reverse side has "Post Card" printed at the top, with two sides for writing, labeled "Correspondence Here" and "Name and Address Here." The stamp area in the upper right corner has "Azo" lettering surrounding the box, with triangles pointing up in each corner. The postcard does not have any writing.
