Name/Title
South-Looking View of a Denver Utah & Pacific Railroad GradeEntry/Object ID
ph.210Description
Black and white photograph print of the site of a Denver, Utah and Pacific Railroad (DU&P) grade, circa 1975. The grade was apparently near the land for Brunner Farm; DU&P operated in Broomfield in the 1880s. The print is 4.5" x 7", resin coated. The image shows a beaten path in grass, possibly the grade itself, alongside a wired fence and trees to the right. A body of water, likely Willow Lake (formerly one of Adolf Zang's reservoirs), is visible farther to the right. Several buildings and a silo are visible in the distant background; one building is possibly Brunner Farmhouse at its original location.
The reverse side has written inscription in black ink, stating, "DU&P Grade Looking South (Brunner Farm in Background)" and "(Willow Lake)."Photograph Details
