Broomfield Train Depot in Transit to its New SiteEntry/Object ID
ph.289Description
Black and white photograph print of the Broomfield train depot being moved to its new location in Lac Amora Park, 1976. The print is 3.5" x 5," resin coated, and might be a photograph of another photograph, taken later; the lower right corner appears to have something overlayed on the image with a shadow. The image itself shows the depot being pulled by truck down Highway 287, with several other cars and individuals visible in front of it and on the opposite side of the highway. Several buildings and some light posts are also visible around the highway. In the foreground, road posts are visible along the edges of the grass median.
The reverse side has an inscription in pencil that reads, "From Ron Marcucci." It also has the number "2187" in red ink, and "Dups. of ?" written in pencil by the number. The upper right corner has the number "249" in pencil, but with an "8" written in red ink over the 4.Collection
