Broomfield Depot at its Original Location by Jones' HallEntry/Object ID
ph.244Description
Black and white photograph print of the Broomfield train depot at its original location near 120th and Highway 287, circa 1975. The print is 3.5" x 5", resin coated. The print may actually be a later photograph of another photograph; shadowing in the upper left corner, reflection in the upper right, and a grayed out area along the right edge suggest this. The image shows the depot in the center, with a tall train signal tower next to it on the left. The grain elevator is shown on the left side of the image, with telephone poles in the foreground. Jones' Hall is hsown o the right closer to the viewer, with signs stating "Al's Trading Post" and "Antiques Odds and Ends" hanging from its balcony.
The reverse side has the inscription "Dups of ? From Ron Marcucci" written in pencil. It also has the number "2187" written in red ink in the upper left corner, and "244" in pencil in the upper right. The number "5" is written in red ink to the left of the number 244.Collection
