Description

Eleven color photograph prints of children helping to plant flowers at the Broomfield Depot Museum, 1988. The prints are all 3.5" x 5", resin coated. The photographs depict the children and other volunteers planting by the "Broomfield Historical Depot Museum" sign, specifically, using various gardening tools and handling flowers in plastic flower pots. Some of the photographs also show the kids and volunteers walking to the museum from the parking lot. Zang's Spur Park is also visible in the background of many of the photographs. Only one photograph has an inscription, in ink, expressing the year "1988." Photographs were originally together in an orange photo envelope with two inscriptions: "Depot" in pencil on the front, and "Negs. of display photos" on the right in ink, with the words "& depot outside photos" in ink crossed out. No accompanying negatives are included in the envelope.

Notes

Photographs were donated to the Broomfield Depot Museum by former Museum Curator Karen McGuire in 2010, who was the original owner of the prints and likely took some of the pictures. McGuire also donated photographs related to a Broomfield shopping center and Lakeview Cemetery.
