Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings from February-March 1977 regarding the Broomfield Community Center and Recreation Center. Red faux leather cover with ten pages, double sided. Articles contain information regarding the activities offered at the Center (softball, tennis, swimming, soccer, baseball, basketball, macreme, aerobic classes, guitar classes, a plant exchange, Las Vegas Night, Valentine's Day Party). Contains entries in a photo contest (winners were Tony Chesner, Ken Tani, Dennis Thode, & Joan Brown). Includes articals about staff changes, including summer job postings with salary/hourly pay information ($2.50-$5/hour). John Ferraro named athletic director.
