Description

Black and white photograph print taken inside a hangar at the Jefferson County Airport, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. A close-up of a fuselage on wheels and without a propeller takes up most of the print. To the right another fuselage on wheels, with wings and a propeller, sits father back. A ladder sits between open doors underneath. The reverse side has the inscription "neg. # 1079 1069." The numbers relate to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-51." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.

Photograph was found in Broomfield Depot Museum collections with photo files, in sleeves labeled "Airport - JeffCo." It appears to have originally been taken with photos Ph.1070-1094. Its original donor and accession is unknown as of 7/6/2016.
