Description

Black and white photograph print of a large water storage tank under construction in Broomfield, circa 1970. The print is 8" x 10", silver gelatin with glossy finish. The tank sits to the right beyond an open field. A crane sits to the left, lifting what appears to be some sort of cage. A truck is parked to the right of the tank. A man climbs a ladder propped against the tank to the left of the truck. Several pieces of equipment sit in front of the tank, with foothills and snow-capped mountains visible in the background. The reverse side has the inscription "1081." Possibly relating to corresponding negatives (not yet identified in Museum collections). Another inscription reads "1-68." This number was probably used by the photograph's original owner.
